A lightweight aluminium alternative to steel hydraulic cylinders are now available in weights as low as one-third of that of their steel counterparts.

Shaw Hydraulic - the UK distributors of Enerpac hydraulic equipment are pleased to announce the new lightweight aluminium alternative to steel cylinders. The new range which includes single acting, lock nut, hollow plunger and double acting are now available in weights as low as one-third of that of their steel counterparts, yet their physical size is virtually the same as for steel. The lightness of aluminium cylinders provides a two-fold benefit: not only are they easier to handle but the jack size that can be handled manually by one or two workers is doubled.

Removable Hardened Saddle - protects plunger from abrasive damage.

Stop Ring - absorbs eccentric loading.

Composite Bearing - reduces side-load issues and increases cylinder life.
