New from Schmidt is the 307 design, combining the simple reliability of a precision Rack and Pinion press with linked process and electronic stroke control via a touch control panel, supported by USB interface data. Ideal for short - run, light duty assembly and manufacturing projects - even of a complex nature - the 307 press offers totally programmable variations of stroke stops and work profiles supported by independently proven measuring and quality control technology. Notable aspects of the manual press range are a force of 4kN, adjustable ram stroke of 0 -50mm and variable working height of 90 - 260mm..

weight is a compact 30kg.

In turn, there are two main linked software options from Schmidt - ControlTool and statistical process control ( SPC ).

The former offers Windows based software for automatic download of press data after completion; including graph displays, dataset management for product/assembly specifics and system settings.

and PLC Editor for programme freedom and verification as well as multiple press monitoring.

The SPC option is again in convenient Windows mode and incorporates, for example, calculation of parameters, deviations, capability indicies and setable failure warnings.

The 307 is very much part of Schmidt's solution - led policy, which gives ongoing consultancy support.
